We provide anaesthesia services to patients of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital and Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital. Pre-Anaesthesia Evaluation Clinic provides services ‘for the optimization surgical patients’ for various surgical procedures. The Pain clinic takes care of chronic pain patients with interventional and non-interventional therapies. This department also looks after Intensive Care Unit for adult patients.

  • Postgraduate training in Anaesthesiology- MD course if of three years duration and DA course is of two years duration.

  • Research activity for student of  National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati
  • We provide trans esophageal echocardiography, fibreoptic intubation and invasive cardiac monitoring services.
